Delta Air Lines, Inc. SENIOR SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE in Singapore, Singapore

The Senior Sales Account Executive is responsible for maximizing revenues and market share within the corporate and agency portfolio in Singapore and the Southeast Asian region.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for DL KE JV sales and revenue goals in SG. Possess in-depth understanding of customers business and serve as a trusted partner to address business /industry issues. Maintain and leverage DL's Global partnerships, effectively communicating and proactively orchestrating team selling with other DL departments and JV partners

  • Develop, build, and maintain strategic long term relationships at multiple levels with-in JV partners, agency and/or corporate accounts with the ability to tailor approach to organizational and/or regional culture. Emphasis on senior levels. Prospect and secure new business

  • Partner with KE to ensure DL KE JV brand is well represented in the marketplace, and develop Sales strategies, initiatives and action plan to achieve JV revenue goals.

  • Manage a portfolio of SG agency accounts, focusing on TMC/TMA high yield traffic. Jointly perform JV AIP fulfillment review.

  • Manage a portfolio of SG Global and Local Corporate accounts to meet JV corporate mix goal. Conduct QBR with Corporate Travel Managers. Leverage MNA and GAM to support GMNA contracts.

  • Manage DL direct sale channel in to improve revenue mix.

  • Coordinate internally with Sales Development, Marketing, Revenue Management, Network, Sales Development, Global Sales, Global Sales Support, CEC, ACS and Alliance on day-to-day basis.

  • Stay vigilant, gather market intelligence and recommend competitive actions. -initiates and completes activity reports for leadership to document activities, actions and results. Creates executives summaries as required

  • Create and execute sales and account strategies in alignment with Delta's corporate strategy and the Global Sales revenue plan. Evaluate, analyze and report results and competitive actions. Lead and direct contract negotiations and implementation of agreement renewals.

  • Advocate changes in products, service and policy by analyzing results and competitive actions Conduct JV product update training/presentation at agencies, corporate offices and seminars.

  • Leverage Sales tool, Tableau, to identify share gap opportunities and recommend actions. Leverage eNCI tools and work with GSS on deliveries.

  • Represent DL at functions and events.

  • Support Regional Sales Manager in managing the GSA in TH, ID & MY.

Job Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree preferred (and/or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing or related fields highly preferred.

-A minimum of 3+ year's sales experience required, and 3+ years airline experience in managing Corporate Sales and/or Agency Sales preferred.

  • Understand the behavior of a Corporate Travel Manager and Agency Supplier Relations Manager to motivate contract performance. Candidate must possess strong orientation towards sales and demonstrate a successful track record of creating and maintaining profitable sales / business relationships with assigned accounts.

  • Candidate must possess excellent skills in written and verbal communications, data analysis, negotiation, time management, organization, planning and presentations

  • A team player with good work ethics, organized and reliable. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal relationships and business decision making skills. Possess strong matrix mindset and inclusive approach within Sales to include relevant partners in addressing opportunities such as Sales Development, Sales Operations, Marketing, Network, etc.

  • Confident, independent and possess business leadership potential. Demonstrate leadership capabilities and have the ability to present key information professionally on behalf of DL and according to DL values.

  • Able to handle pressure with the ability to multi-tasks on several projects. Manage change with resilience, display tremendous drive and commitment as well as demonstrate poise under pressure.

  • Must have high proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Experience with Delta's Reservation System is a plus.

  • Must be willing and able to travel to support assigned accounts. Must be able to work independently taking core ownership with minimal supervision and work well in a collaborative team environment.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
