Thank you for your interest in joining the Delta Air Lines Airport Customer Service Team. We are currently looking to expand out team with a Permanent Full Time Customer Service Agent at our Singapore station.
Please note that you must have all paperwork / documents required to live and work in the location that you are applying to.
As a Customer Service Agent you will be expected to perform the following duties:
Handle all facets of work associated with check-in, ticketing and making reservations for passengers and other activities necessary to board and deplane passengers, including tagging and lifting passengers' baggage to a bag belt for delivery to the ramp.
Be proactive to greet customers, assess their needs, explain Delta's available technology alternatives, and direct them appropriately.
Impact customers' use of airport technology positively to ensure a better, faster and friendlier airport experience for all customers.
Display a positive Delta Customer Service standards at all times .
Keep customers informed while ensuring service delivery.
Coordinate efficiently with internal resources while working under pressure and time constraints to dispatch flights on time.
Perform a variety of duties according to the functional work area assignment e.g. Baggage, Ramp, Catering, AIC, Flight Ops and administration support; agents may be cross-utilized and is required to be able and to perform all functions. Other specific functions, tasks and departments may vary or be added depending upon the location and operational requirements.
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
The candidate must be legally eligible to live and work in SIN.
Must be able to read, write and comprehend detailed job instructions.
Be proficient in Mathematics, and spoken and written English to communicate effectively with the customers.
Must have basic computer knowledge such as Excel and Word.
Previous work experiene at airline ticket counters or airport boarding gates is preferred.
Must have strong listening and communication skills in order to identify customer needs and to provide directions appropriately.
-Must display a positive Delta Customer Service standards.
- Must be able to successfully complete the appropriate training courses for the relevant job areas with a minimum passing score on all course exams at 75%.
-Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including the ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
Must be flexible to work on rotating shifts with no fixed off days and public holidays. Normal working hours is from 2200 to 0800 hrs.
Successful candidate is required to go through a 4 to 6 weeks of classroom training from 0800 to 1200hrs.
