The Specialist, Analytics & Performance Reporting is a new role on the In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity (IFEC) team. This individual will be responsible for providing visibility into the performance of one of Delta’s highest priority customer initiatives. Delta is on a mission to create a highly personalized and engaging digital onboard environment that drives higher NPS contributions and creates significant bottom-line impact. This individual will be responsible for understanding and communicating how our customers are engaging with onboard digital platforms to continually improve customer engagement levels. This individual will provide timely and trustworthy insights that teams can use to make data-informed decisions about our engagement strategies.
This role is based in Atlanta, GA and reports to the Manager of IFEC Analytics & Performance Reporting.
Primary Functions:
Create dashboards for regular performance monitoring needs, which will serve as the single source of truth for a wide variety of users, including senior leadership and partner brands
Build ad-hoc analysis and reports to explore assumptions or intuitions about customer behaviors on the platform
Recommend and implement customer data models to drive new and optimized ways to influence the customer to take a ‘next best action’
Regularly communicate engagement trends and opportunity areas with team, partners, and senior leaders through both written and verbal communications
Contribute to goal-setting activities and provide informed perspectives on forecasts and expected impacts of new initiatives
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data

Experience with analytics, data modeling, data science, or similar relevant function
Experience with SAS / SQL or similar software products, Tableau or Power BI dashboard development, and MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex projects
Excellent communication skills to translate data into insights consumable by all
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
