How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Senior Analyst, Strategic Programs will be responsible for creating and implementing a sustainable strategy for hiring ,onboarding, development, training and execution of the retention plan. The role will focus on the aspects of the employee lifecycle including training, and leadership/career development. The Sr. Analyst, Strategic Programs will partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and divisional leaders to ensure the strategy, process and execution best supports the future talent needs of Ops Analytics. ​

Summary of Responsibilities: ​

  • Partner with Ops Analytics divisional leaders to develop knowledge decks pertaining to each divisional team ​

  • Establish a centralized, modern training library for easy access by new and existing Ops Analytics team members ​

  • Build a training and development program to develop the analytical and soft skills necessary to excel in Ops Analytics ​

  • Ensure efficient knowledge dissemination throughout Ops Analytics ​

  • Develop, define, and manage mentoring program within Ops Analytics ​

  • Develop career pathways for analytics employees (leader, critical professional analytics talent, etc.) ​

  • Communicate feedback to better the training operation and the overall employee experience ​

  • Oversee multiple initiatives, often with competing priorities, in a fast-paced environment ​

  • Lead through demonstration of Delta's core values as outlined in Rules of the Road ​

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and proactive, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints

  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving and decision-making skills, and effective analytical skills ​

  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and proactive with ability to lead teams to deliver on challenging goals ​

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both written and oral) ​

  • High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency

  • Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles

  • Consistently make safety and security, of self and others, the priority

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Project and program management experience highly desired

  • 3+ years of analytics experience preferred (excel, SQL, Tableau)

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources Management, Business, or similar degree
