Delta Air Lines is looking for a Digital Data Management Platform (DMP) Program Manager who is interested in combining the art of web & mobile product tracking with a love of marketing to better personalize experiences for our customers. Responsibilities will include leading the DMP technology architecture and roadmap, helping solve business problems with Delta-specific solutions via new audiences and segments, and driving personalized experiences across the digital channels. This role will also work closely with major marketing groups, including Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, International Marketing, and Analytics, as well as IT teams.

This individual will work on complex, technical projects bringing disparate data sources and platforms together for a top revenue priority organization wide (Single View of the Customer -SVOC). They will be a key leader for successful business implementation of SVOC. They will also define the DMP strategy and roadmap on an ongoing basis and be a champion for the platform, working to surface new opportunities to help better leverage disparate data assets. This role will be crucial in driving the overall success of the tool and continue to proactively provide strategic recommendations to help refine and enhance our efforts to meet goals that ultimately ladder up to Delta’s Flight Plan.

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):

•Manages administrative and development aspects of the DMP tool within the digital portfolio; develops new user-facing experiences via custom audiences; and assesses and recommends the technical/business feasibility for potential audiences.

•Optimizes DMP implementations with IT for maximum speed and scalability using web best practices.

•Manages program standards and drives product usage roadmap.

•Monitors current and future trends in the e-commerce, web, mobile, and digital marketing space that will influence internal direction in the future.

•Partners with key internal and agency teams to lead DMP roadmap development, as well as identifying gaps in capabilities and helps develop solutions.

•Responsible for discovering data ecosystem gaps and surface opportunities for collaboration and integration.

•Partners with internal and agency teams to collaborate on the development of testing capabilities across DMP segments, configuration with desired platforms (web, social, etc.), audience activation, and analytics.

•Provides subject matter expertise to internal business and IT teams as well as implementation of best practices; consistently provides counsel to senior leaders.

•Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

•Must have a bachelor’s degree (with preference to Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical Marketing) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the digital media, analytics, or marketing technology landscape with hands-on DMP experience; or MBA plus 3 years of the same relevant work experience required; with no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant work experience as described above.

•Must have professional experience with Data Management Platforms (Adobe, Salesforce/Krux, Oracle, Nuestar).

•Must have hands-on experience with additional marketing technology tools such as Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, tag managers, and advertising pixels/tags.

•Must have proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, & JS, as well as a proficient understanding of and work experience with audience development and experience personalization.

•Must have prior experience running at least one RFP for a data management platform and implementing the tool end-to-end; additional experience leading other similar RFPs or implementations is a plus.

•Should have a working knowledge of 3rd party data marketplaces and ad buying platforms.

•Must be able to manage and prioritize many projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.

•Must have experience working cross-functionally with other developers and other technically-focused professionals.

•(If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

•Familiarity with the airline industry is a plus.

•Understanding of various marketing cloud tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM platforms, and analytics (Adobe Analytics) tools is a plus.
