In Delta’s journey to becoming a beloved and trusted consumer brand, Lifecycle Marketing connects Retail & Relationship marketing to maximize short-term revenue and grow long-term customer relationships by anticipating customer's wants and needs – and then delivering on them. Delta is seeking a Marketing Specialist, B2B2C/Small Business Engagement, to support strategic communication approaches across B2B2C, Small Business & SkyBonus Acquisition and Nurture campaigns, designed to drive long term loyalty through marketing communications and customer journeys. The successful candidate will have a proven record of collaborating cross-functionally across marketing disciplines and business units, putting the customer at the core of every decision.

Key responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships and work cross functionally with partners in Loyalty, Sales, Digital and Corporate Communications to lead and/or collaborate on Business Audience needs as part of an integrated customer lifecycle

  • Support the strategy, planning and execution of cross-channel Business Audience Engagement efforts including converting Business Travelers to SkyMiles Members and providing the education needed to drive long term loyalty.

  • Translate Sales business objectives into Lifecycle Marketing communication approaches focused on Acquisition and Nurture, that influence loyalty across earned, paid, and owned channels, including press outreach storylines, CRM, paid media, delta.com and internal marketing channels

  • Identify customer segmentation, offer construct and testing opportunities to optimize loyalty communications efforts by promoting priority messages to the right customer, in the right channel at the right time

  • Support creation of roadmaps to further evolve Business Audience Engagement approaches, including influencing Martech partnership needs to optimize the infrastructure for activation of Sales marketing strategies

  • Deliver high-level performance trends and reports and drive optimizations for loyalty campaigns in partnership with Marketing Analytics and Media teams

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • 5-7 years experience in Marketing, Loyalty, Customer Relationship Management, or related field

  • At least 3-4 years of experience with people or agency management and demonstrated servant-leadership

  • Must possess excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication and leadership skills

  • Can successfully influence multiple stakeholders, managing complex and fast-paced business needs and be able to present to stakeholders

  • A penchant for succinct, data story telling

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email deployment platform

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

  • Candidates for this position should have at minimum a high school diploma/GED

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience with customer data and an understanding of paid media and marketing analytics

  • Previous loyalty marketing experience, inside travel industry or with a best-in-class loyalty program, supporting CRM, B2B2C or Lifecycle initiatives is a plus
