How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Delta Air Lines is looking for a n intern to join the Compensation team as a Compensation Analyst focused on compensation delivery programs. During this internship, the individual will support compensation processes such as compensation program and policy review/administration, internal peer equity, historical compensation research or other analysis such as market comparisons. Th e internship may assist the Delta Global Compensation team with the management and maintenance of benchmarking / market data for our salaried and hourly population. R eports to the Compensation Programs Manager .

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Must be a current student working towards an undergraduate/ or graduate degree program preferably in a Human Resources related field.

  • Must have strong demonstrated analytical skills and be proficient in Excel and Word.

  • Should be a self-starter, be organized and able to effectively coordinate, prioritize, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must have strong communication skills (including written).

  • Must be willing to build strong relationships across a broad platform and level of employees.

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Working on a graduate degree at an accredited university in a Human Resources related field.

  • R elevant work experience within HR or business administration functions, preferably handling compensation related tasks.
