The Enterprise Strategy team is focused on driving cross-divisional value as Delta executes its strategy, building on Delta’s unique competitive
advantages and strength as a leading customer brand and operator. This role of General Manager will help develop Delta’s long-term strategic
roadmap, identify transformational cross-divisional opportunities, and drive to value creation/capture. This position will also have responsibility for
supporting Delta executives, Board level priorities and help oversee partnerships to meet our long-term objectives.
Primary Functions
Work collaboratively with executive and senior management across divisions to identify, define and deliver end-to-end value for the most
essential strategic opportunities for Delta
Execute quantitative and qualitative analysis to answer strategic questions, synthesizing insights and translating into actionable
recommendations for the business
Align and drive cross-functional teams to distill key strategic themes, ideas, and opportunities into tangible and executable initiatives
Drive deliverables and timelines, shifting priorities as needed and managing stakeholder relationships
Support preparation of materials for Board and other executive meetings in conjunction with other business leaders
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
7+ years of demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic planning or larger scale / cross functional
program management at Delta, other large corporate entities, strategy consulting firms, or investment banking
Strategy consulting experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field or 5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to work effectively with senior leadership on C-Suite and Board topics to drive change and achieve strategic goals
Executive presence to be an effective agent of change, leading through influence and vision across the enterprise
translating the strategic plan into tangible and easily understood goals
Communicate clearly and concisely for a senior executive audience, both verbally and through document preparation.
Experience performing financial analysis, analytical modeling, data analysis for the purpose of assisting the exploration of
strategic options and development of creative solutions to complex problems
Experience researching external trends, sources, information to form perspectives / points of view / recommendations
given quickly changing or ambiguous topics
Self-starter, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced, highly visible environment
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to synthesize across many different points of view, oriented to value
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
