Position: Domestic Pricing Senior Analyst

Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining competitive posture as it pertains to Delta's fares, rules, pricing policies, procedures, and programs for the Revenue Management Domestic Pricing Team. Each Domestic Pricing Team is responsible for the ongoing strategy, tactics, and execution of Delta's market level pricing within that region and for the analysis of its resulting performance.

Position Responsibilities:

Identifying and analyzing market issues and trends, determining appropriate pricing actions, filing of actions, and post-audit assessment of actions.

Providing technical pricing support to other revenue management groups and both internal and external distribution channels and reporting.

Must be able to work efficiently as part of a team and as an individual contributor.

Must practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Domestic Pricing Team Functions:

Monitor, initiate and communicate industry pricing actions including changes to fare levels, fare rules, policies and pricing strategy execution.

Proactively manage Delta's fare structure including prices and fare rules.

Collaborate with pricing strategy to establish a fare structure to best segment customers and maximize revenue.

Work cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Network Planning, Alliances, Sales, Marketing and other teams to ensure alignment on market level strategies.

Partner with ATPCO, all Global Distribution Systems, the Commercial teams and other stakeholders to develop, support and enhance the functionality of automated pricing and distribution systems.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Preferred major in the area of Business, Finance, Economics, and Marketing, Statistics and/or equivalent work experience.

At least 18 months of relevant work experience required.

Must be detail-oriented, have proven analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive team environment.

Ability to meet deadlines, service level commitments, and handle multiple tasks.

Must be able to set priorities in a time sensitive environment based on revenue impact and be able to manage several responsibilities at once.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.

Familiarity with airline economic and industry experience is strongly preferred.

Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
