The Schedule Coordination Center (SCC) Data Analytics and Strategic Planning Co-op position will provide analytical and process-driven support to the Schedule Coordination Center (SCC). The position analyzes data and builds strategic solutions for cross-divisional business initiatives. The individual will develop results by constructing and manipulating datasets, SQL programming using SAS, and utilizing data visualization and business intelligence tools. The co-op completes large and complex ad-hoc projects containing highly confidential material and moderate financial risk. Project work is summarized in written reports and presented to leaders and/or project sponsors. Additional responsibilities include participation in strategic business planning sessions to develop what-if scenarios and anticipated outcomes. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
The Schedule Coordination Center (SCC) Co-op position requires that a candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business or other relevant degree with an emphasis in analytical analysis. Candidate must have at least 3 work semesters available. Candidate must possess strong technical skills, with an emphasis on Excel, SQL, creating datasets, database querying and report development tools (SAS, Tableau, Hyperion, or other relevant data extraction tools). SAS programming or similar programming skills strongly preferred. Completion or pursuit of Probability and/or Statistics courses desired. Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and perform well under pressure. Candidate must convey professional image to all levels of associates. Strong written and verbal communication skills highly preferred. Should be proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
