An exciting role offering you the chance to lead and influence Delta's transformation to a cutting edge Information Technology global delivery model.

Be the portfolios' thought-leadership point of contact responsible for establishing, mentoring, and enhancing the relationship between the Portfolios and Global Delivery Partners

Use your expertise to work closely with portfolio leads in formulating the strategy for outsourcing IT Capital projects and core support work to various partners

Contribute to the Operating Model Enablement (OME) program through direct expertise and indirect leverage of partner capabilities.

Understand business needs early in the sourcing process, and provide guidance to effectively leverage strategic partnerships and manage costs

Provide input and support for non-labor needs, through collaboration with the IT VMO and Supply Chain

Support the portfolios in terms of selection of partners, guidance on the partner engagement model, review and signoff of Statement of Work etc.,

Work effectively across multiple Global Delivery Partners, Delta projects, and technology areas to troubleshoot partner delivery issues and implement corrective solutions

Collaborate with the portfolios to understand their business & resource needs based on their pipeline of projects and core work and help enable resource forecasts relevant to each of the Partners

Demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to all levels of organization

Play a leading role in the IT Sourcing transformation initiative to consolidate work among fewer set of partners and maximize their value contribution to Delta

Institutionalize governance routines including Quarterly Business Review (QBRs), metrics, and process improvements within the portfolios to elevate the maturity levels of engagement with partners

Engage with the partners in understanding their Organizational capabilities and their Innovation investment commitments and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them for the benefit of the portfolios

Continuously evaluate the partner performance and periodically initiate Customer satisfaction surveys with portfolios to elevate overall engagement and delivery

Continuously explore opportunities to elevate the portfolio - partner engagements to more mature outsourcing models

Work in tandem with the Global Delivery Oversight Managers (GDOs) in executing all of the above responsibilities

Keep abreast of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. in order to advise others of optimal sourcing opportunities


Proven experience in onsite-offshore delivery and customer relationship management

Deep expertise in business and IT process relevant to Airline Industry

Deep "hands on" knowledge across all phases of SDLC using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Strong solutioning experience on outsourcing models, Project / Delivery execution models and Engagement models.

Highly adaptable, a driver of change, and capable of quickly rallying teams

Strong leadership and negotiation skills, we want you to develop and nurture relationships quickly despite obstacles

15-20 years of IT experience with global corporations.

Experience managing partner engagements involving Application Development, Application Support, Testing and / or Infrastructure services

Willingness to travel as needed to support the business


Experience working with diverse teams located across various countries

Strong leader with even stronger communication and negotiation abilities

Willingness to ask for new responsibilities adding value to the overall business objectives
