How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
We're seeking an Associate Agile Project Manager to join our team in a highly collaborative, fluid and creative development structure. Our ideal candidate has a passion for Agile/Scrum practices, a hunger to take on challenging and exciting projects as well as an unrelenting drive to improve technology, tools and processes.
This team is at the forefront of innovation of digital signage at Delta – we enhance the customer experience and bring Delta’s unique culture to our employees every day. You will work on something new everyday and the results of your efforts will be seen by thousands of people. Travel is required and can include several consecutive weeks as new airport projects come online.
Responsibilities include but are not limited too:
Ensuring the team produces continual and on-time delivery of value
Manage several concurrent projects of varying priority and complexity, across multiple scrum teams and multiple business divisions.
Maintain an exceptional level of customer focus centered on integrity and transparency
Responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings.
Working for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness.
Abide by Delta's agile frameworks (i.e., SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, TDD, LeSS, or Nexus etc.).
Bring disclosure and transparency throughout all levels of the enterprise to help foster trust
Coordinate dependencies between teams, release trains, Centers of Excellence including other areas
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Agile methodologies and tools (Version One)
Highly skilled in Excel including creating reports and comparing data
Comfortable managing user stories, epics, sprints and backlogs
Excellent documentation, organization, prioritization, and forecasting and roadmapping skills
Communicate with leadership, customers and internal teams
Understand the relationships between team deliverables from multiple internal and external teams and how it all fits together to create the finished product
Able to handle multiple projects at a time
Curious mindset with an aptitude for learning on your own
Able to train others and lead discussions with our internal customers
Anticipate tasks and assignments and needs of our customers
Proactively seeks out improvements in our products – do better
Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
Experience working in an airline technology environment.
