How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Analytics Specialists in Atlanta, Georgia. Work closely with leaders to develop creative solutions to current business challenges. Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and reporting. Aggregate views of data sources into meaningful hierarchies. Develop automated reports and analyses with direction from other senior members on the team. Support process improvement and project management engagements for both individual business units and cross-divisional initiatives. Present findings to Operational Analytics leaders. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Have a team-first attitude with the success of the team and business partners as the top priority. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field, and 3 years of experience in IT or HR data or related. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field, and 5 years of experience in IT or HR data related.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • MS Access database development in addition to SQL, EPI-USE, SAP HANA, and Alteryx

  • Developing and automating performance reports and dashboards

  • Data and complex data platforms

  • Developing Extract, Transform, and Load processes that utilize multiple data sources and formats

  • SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Integration Services

  • Tableau and SAS.
